Accommodations: Oceanfront Duplex with 4 Bedrooms, 3 BA,(one en suite). Sleeps 10 per side.

Escape to my affordable oceanfront duplex that has stunning oceanfront views. In February 2020 I added stainless steel appliances to the kitchen. Pictures of the new appliances will be added soon to the website. In May I added new granite top counters and a double sink. The countertop island was extended for additional space. I also added new carpeting in the bedrooms and upstairs hall.

The home has a bright, airy, cottage feel and is a perfect place to relax. Admire the view from the inside or step outside onto the covered porch to catch an oceanfront breeze. There is also a dune landing steps from the beach with a bench and more outstanding views. Due to Emerald Isle's restricted off street parking the beautiful beaches are never crowded.

Amenities also include hi-speed wireless service, outdoor shower and washer/dryer.

Additional Information: Emerald Isle's unique location affords homes on the island both beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Our home is located at the end of a no-through street so there is no traffic. The house is located minutes from restaurants, shopping, golf, kayaking, movie theatres, fishing, biking, water slide parks, tennis, basketball courts, an aquarium and many other activities. Other interests in the area include visits to historic Beaufort, Fort Macon, Swansboro, 1/2 or full day trips to Hammocks Beach State Park or Cape Look Out. (Both of these islands do not have any homes or commercial development and have great shelling.)

Rentals are Sunday-Sunday. There is no smoking policy and no pets are allowed. You must be at least 25 years old to rent the property. Prices listed are for weekly rentals. Nightly rentals are available off season or last minute during prime season if a week opens up. Note: Rates are subject to change without notice until confirmed.

About Debbie
Three families originally purchased the whole duplex in 2001 where we raised our families. Life changes and I bought the East side of the duplex 1/2020 to keep it in my family. I grew up in Swansboro and most of my relatives still live in the area so I am a great resource for suggestions on places to go when you are vacationing in my house.

Why Debbie chose Emerald Isle
I fell in love with the views the first time I entered the house. I loved the location at the end of a no-through street and the fact that the lot to the left of the property is a treed, undeveloped lot. When we first purchased the duplex it had dark paneling and furniture that looked like it belonged in the mountains. We have updated the house every year. Within the last 5 years we added new siding, windows, a bathroom, floors, deck, landing, new roof, TVs and this year I just added new stainless steel appliances in the kitchen.
 
What makes this House unique
Our high dune affords us great views and we have more privacy than most places on the island due to the treed lot beside of us and being the last house on the street.
