***On July 18th, 2020 Governor Ron DeSantis held another press conference and everything is going in a positive direction! Investigations are underway to look into the false-positive test results flooding the state of Florida. Hospitals confirmed that the 90% occupancy rate is mostly from the elderly needing routine care, car accidents, child labor and elective surgeries. A small percentage of their hospitalizations are even caused by the virus.
Our rentals are open, and we plan to stay open!!
Stores and restaurants are open at 100% capacity.
Sporting events, gyms and hair salons are now being opened!
Our home is located in Walton County. Walton County and the surrounding areas have never been considered a "hot spot". Most of the concern for the state of Florida back in March and April 2020 was the south part of Florida, around Miami. Miami is about 9-hour drive from here.

>We have ordered and RECEIVED a special shipment of paper towels and toilet paper from a business supplier! This option was only available for businesses during this time. We have not run out of paper products for you, you will get a couple complimentary paper products upon check in.
>We are supplying antibacterial Lysol under the sink, antibacterial dish soap, and hand soaps at every sink!! You will still have these essentials during your stay with us!!

Our amazing, luxury pool has an attached Splash Pad measuring 12ft x 6ft! Perfect for your little ones, or you can use it as your own personal tanning shelf! It has heating capabilities and you can choose to heat the pool with a heating fee.
Pavers are done! Outdoor furniture is set up in the form of outdoor dining, lounges, hammock and grill!
Paradise Retreat is a Private, Gated, Quiet Neighborhood, only 400 yards from the fabulous sugar-white beaches and emerald-green water. You'll have a 5-7 minute walk to get to the beach. Or arrive in 60 seconds by taking the complimentary 6 passenger golf cart!
**Our gated neighborhood has 2 gates. One gate takes you right to the beach! It's known as the "scenic route" or "the beach road". Our included golf cart can navigate you to anywhere you want to go on this road! The speed limit is 25mph. This puts you around the corner from more than one beach access and restaurants.
**The other gate takes you to the main highway. This is very convenient so you don't have to fight traffic on the beach if you have plans to go somewhere else. Like the grocery store, Outlets, theaters or excursions. For something quick, there is a Dollar General right next to this second gate on the main highway.

The home has 3 bedrooms plus a bunk room and can sleep up to 14 people. Driveway and garage can comfortably fit 4 cars, plus the golf cart. The living area has an open concept design. There is a fully equipped kitchen where you will be spending time cooking, eating, and having fun being together. The kitchen features a unique built-in Credenza, to celebrate the most special events in style. A 65-inch, 4K, HDR TV sits in the living room with lots of seating for watching movies/sporting events or just for sitting back and relaxing while so many memories are being made. The backyard is private with multiple ‘relax to the max’ lounges, cozy patio with 9’ umbrella providing just enough shade for those that are sun sensitive.
The Rustic Retreat is a single level home that features 2 private King Rooms, 1 private Queen Room, Kids Twin over Twin Bunk room and a Full over Full Bunk bed in the living area. There is also a Queen air mattress provided for larger groups that provide accurate guest count. So large families or families vacationing together won’t have to flip a coin to see who gets the larger bed.
The Master Suite has a stunning and large, newly renovated bathroom attached with a garden tub, separate shower, and a double vanity. All beds are memory foam mattresses, so the kids can sleep just as good as the adults! The house is inviting, quiet, and peaceful. It's decorated in a Rustic Coastal design, having a rustic look with splashes of natural beautiful colors. It just makes you want to relax and soak it all in!

Our names are Eric and Jessica Massingill. We are locals in the Destin area and we manage our vacation rental ourselves!
We are a great pair of young professionals, and we are connected with other great groups of young professionals in the area as well. Eric carries a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in Professional Golf Management. Jessica was military raised as her father is a retired veteran out of Eglin Air Force Base. We choose to home school our four children, which currently range in ages from 2 to 13 years old.
It is our vision to expand our Vacation Rental Business in this area! Our older children are very excited about being raised in our entrepreneurship. We are looking forward to watching them experience growth and pride for something they can accomplish themselves!
